Can listening save a person's life?
Or to rephrase it, can a true listening ear for someone save a person's life?
What do you think?
A friend who accepts those going through mental illness and goes through with them during their difficult journey of their life is a godsend. A friend's genuine acceptance, support and understanding goes a long way in their route to recovery.
But most of the times, most of us just don't know what we can do.
A US-based site has done a short video which you can see on their main page that illustrates in a simple way what you as a friend can do for them. Check it out.
I just feel this is simply inspirational.
