Often the stigma of mental illness leads people to perceive people with mental illness as little more than walking unpredictable "crazy" people. They don't see nor acknowledge the talented gifts they have, which to me is a pity, for many of them are brilliant people. With their graciousness, help and contributions I would be posting their works of art in the coming days to showcase their talent.

Alphabet Friendship

A friendship made
Bond together forever
Care and concern for each other
Dancing together when we are happy
Everyday, just remember one another
For the love together cannot described
Gardens with flowers, we love to smell
Home is a place where we relax
In the house where there is delicious food
Just take a seat and enjoy the food
Keeping friendship deep inside our hearts
Love for each other, deeper each day
Memories which are sweet we love to keep
Never will we forget each other everyday
Over the mountains and under the oceans
Picking up beautiful things around the earth
Quietly when pray for world peace together
Reaching out for those in need
Slowly as we reach out for them and give comfort
The warmth between them and us cannot be described

Deep down in my heart, I feel sad
Everyday living is like a chore
People may not understand my suffering
Really need help anytime and anywhere
